In the Field · Part 4
Template: the job-site checklist, from the truck to the walk-through
Lesson 23 of 27~5 minFree previewCurrent as of September 2026
One page per job, in the order the day runs: before leaving the yard, at the door, at the work area, during the work, at the end of the day, and at the walk-through. Every line traces to a lesson in this track; most of them are the difference between a job the customer recommends and one they remember for the wrong reason.
What the full lesson covers
- Print one per job; the completed sheet goes in the job folder with the photos.
- The "before leaving" block is where the permit, the one-call ticket, the contract copy, and the RRP pamphlet are confirmed; the day cannot recover from missing them.
- The "end of day" block is a text to the customer and a clean path, every day, on every multi-day job.
- The walk-through block is the punch list, the shutoff tour, the release, and the review ask.
