Payment Information: Payments are collected by MITRYXA.COM, the company that operates CA Plumbing Prep, and are processed by Stripe. Charges appear on your card statement as MITRYXA. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information.

Device and Technical Data: We collect standard technical information such as your browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers to ensure proper functionality and security.

Purchase and Consent Records: When you make a purchase we record what you were shown and agreed to at checkout, together with the date and time, the approximate location of your connection (country, region and city only, derived from your IP address), your browser and device details, and the page you arrived from. Your IP address itself is stored only as a one-way cryptographic hash, not in readable form, and we do not collect precise or GPS location. We keep this record to confirm the terms you accepted, to provide support, and to respond to payment disputes and chargebacks raised with your bank. We consider this necessary for our legitimate interest in defending against inaccurate payment claims, and it is retained for as long as a payment can be disputed.

Study Activity: We record your activity on the platform, including questions answered, practice exams taken and lessons completed, along with the dates and times. This powers your progress tracking and study analytics, and it also forms the record of your use of the product if a payment dispute arises.

Messages You Send Us: We store the contact-form messages you send, including your name, email address, subject and message text, so we can respond and keep a record of your support history.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information with service providers who help us operate the platform: Supabase (database hosting), Stripe (payment processing), Anthropic (AI tutoring), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (website hosting), Google Analytics (website usage measurement) and Meta (advertising measurement). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

Advertising measurement. We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. To measure whether those ads work, we tell Meta when someone views a key page or completes a purchase. This is sent both from your browser and directly from our servers. Where this includes your email address, it is hashed before it is sent, so Meta receives a scrambled value rather than your address in readable form. We do not send Meta your study activity, your answers or your exam scores. You can limit this through your Meta account's off-Meta activity controls and through your browser or device ad settings.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. All data is transmitted using SSL/TLS encryption. Our database is hosted on Supabase with enterprise-grade security. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except as required by law.

Depending on your location, you may have rights including: the right to access your personal data, the right to correct inaccurate data, the right to request deletion of your data, the right to data portability, and the right to opt out of certain processing.
